"Wicked"

This is Ben, my grandson. When he opened this Christmas card, the first thing he said to me was "wicked" grandma, I love this. He put it on his desk in his bedroom. I was so pleased!

Row of houses

I had accumulated quite an assortment of archetectural pieces from flea markets and yard sales, so I decided it was time for me to make"the ever popular" row of houses. I had fun making this project, which is displayed on my living room wall.

Third in a series of halloween pet costumes. I just love the idea of dressing up your pet, however mine wouldn't even allow me to take a picture of him.

Flea Markets and Yard sales

I am on the hunt for all kinds of things. Jewelry, scarves, clothes, purses, dvd's, art elements, rubber stamps, furniture, books, trinkets, lovelies, and super buys(to resell at the flea market)and more. I have been going to yard sales for 35 years! The "things" I have found. One day I bought several purses, now mind you, I had been to at least 10 or more sales. When I got home I picked my favorite purchase and started to add my things to the purse. I unzipped the inner pocket and, wow, there was a hundred dollar bill inside. I couldn't even remember what sale I got the purse at, so I kept it. What's a girl to do? Today I found 2 Aigner purses in brown. One I paid 10 dollars for and the other one was 3 dollars. Five necklaces (all 50 cents each)to take the beads from and make them into current styles. Colors that are hard to find are yellow, purple, and red. Today I found purple! I also found a Kenneth Cole black leather satchel purse(1 dollar), never used. A Merona pair of sandals with the tags still attached for 50 cents. Oh I just remembered last months flea market, ALL the pictures above are from one sale and I purchased them all, yes I said all, for 19.00.

Halloween costumes for animals

I am working on my blog, finally, after ignoring it for almost a year. I have never been computer literate and I was not happy with a regular blog. I wanted bells and whistles. I still don't have many but I am learning little by little. I made my banner using Photoshop 7.0. That was something I really wanted, so I finally figured out how to do it, all by myself! I would accept help, lol, anyone interested?

I love to make all kinds of art, but since I am on a couple design teams I can't really post what I am working on in my blog. *sad face* With that said, I have decided to post several other topics. One that really gives me pleasure is cute animals. My plan is when I have nothing else to post I will post pictures of the cute animals I have collected. They can really cheer a person up!
For now I am going to post animals dressed up for halloween. These are so cute!
