My new favorite stamps "House Mouse"

I have fallen in love with these adorable stamps. I colored these with prismacolor pencils. My first attempt, but I like coloring with these pencils, so I will be doing more cards with them. And of course the "House Mouse" stamps. Have you seen the awesome Magnolia stamps? I sure want some of those too. It never ends! LOL

May, what May?

I have just experienced the worst May of my entire life! But guess what? It's now June, and I made it through May. (Dear God)...Thank you!

I have been wanting to share this tag album cover for quite awhile. (remember computer problems?) I got quite familiar with Photoshop, but my computer won't let me use it anymore lol. I read about a site called Aviary Photo Editor Suite, and I can use it online (a webpage no less) and my computer doesn't give me fits. I made this tag album cover when Tim Holtz went to Paris. It's a little tribute to his trip. I was influenced by the video he published on his web page.

A Tribute to Tim's Trip to Paris

I was so thrilled to see Tim Holtz in Paris. Even if it was only on his blog, lol. I had to make this tag book to remember his trip. I was in a tag swap on the yahoo group "All Things Tim" and my tag book is filled with those swaps. I can't get enough of Tim!

As promised I am adding new images for you to use

I have not used my blog for personal issues about my life. I want this blog to be about art.
I am going to make a small exception. I haven't blogged for 6 weeks. I had a couple things happen which put me in a set back for awhile.
I went to my doctor for some test results which were fine. I started a coughing fit while he was in the room and he got real upset. (not his norm) He examined me and gave me an electrocardiogram. He said he was putting me in the hospital. He attached me with a heart monitor. He said in a whisper to me that he thought I had congestive heart failure. I said I am not going in the hospital. I then told him that I have been suffering with this condition for 3 years or more and have tried to get him to realize that my coughing fits needed his attention. However he apparently didn't realize how I was suffering. In the past he gave me nazonex and salt water. I went to a heart specialist and went through a huge amount of tests and when the results came back I had a healthy heart! My troubles were all related to allergies.

The second thing that set me back was my computer. It is over 6 years old so I decided to shop for a new one. I went to Best Buy because they were having a good sale. I picked out a nice desktop HP and took it home. After two days it crashed. I went back for a replacement and they nor any other Best Buy had the model I purchased. I upgraded and took the replacement home. After a week it locked up and would not work. I went back again and guess what, they did not have another model like this one. They suggested I try a Dell. I went home with a Dell (which I did not want) and started my third procedure to add all my data to it. It would not perform like I thought it should. I took it back and decided to take my old Sony Viao in for a makeover. That is what I am using. I still want another computer but now I am gun shy. Any suggestions?

Here I go again, giving away images. I started late on the blogging thing, but I got the hang of it. Now what I don't get is facebook. Anyone want to tell me what's so great about it? : )

Shhhhh, it's a secret

I just couldn't wait. These two cards were designed by me for the last issue of SSReflections online magazine. Since it's the last issue, I won't be held accountable for going against the rules, by showing these before March 1, or will I? I am a rule breaker...haha...but only if I know I won't get in trouble. I bet that doesn't count then. A rebel in my own mind. LOL If you like one of these cards please let me know. If you have any questions let me know. I hope you enjoy these.

Year of the OX

Huge Tim Holtz fan (fanatic)

I am a huge Tim Holtz fan. I love his designs, his products, and one day hope to have my picture taken with him. Below is a tag I made for a swap on All Things Tim, yahoo group. Along with this swap, we could make a tag for the hostess to send to Tim. This was so much fun! Thanks Gloria (our hostess with the mostess)

Next is a tag I made for Tim's birthday. Each year without fail, Tim goes to Disneyland on his birthday. I sure hope he likes it.
